Experiential Learning Opportunities

Each grade level offers unique experiential learning opportunities such as swimming with the manatees, Biztown, Nature’s Classroom and trips to Boston and D.C. Field trips and themed days are incorporated to extend learning. In addition to experiences built into the school day, students may participate in a variety of leadership activities and service learning projects such as National Junior Honor Society and Student Government.

Annual Traditions

TDS’s 50-year history is rich with traditions designed to round out the student and family experience. Some of the traditions we celebrate together are Family Bowling, Fall Festival, Grandparent’s Day, Dads and Donuts, Moms and Muffins, Jingle Bell Jam, Family Picnic, and Field Day.
